FDS won silver and bronze in the International Business Community Mixed and Open categories. You can see videos I took at the end of this post. We headed down to Boat Quay to watch them compete against other expat teams. I’ve never seen so many dragon boat teams in one spot. Congratulations FDS!
The rest in photos (and videos at the end).
Singapore River Regatta (SRR) has a gorgeous venue in downtown Singapore. One of the expat dragon boat teams returning to dock.I picked dragon boating a sport because it encourages you to stay fit. Some of the bigger teams (or teams that can splurge) have their own tents. My friend Joanna joined me at watching the race today. We reached the venue in the afternoon after learning that FDS made it to the semis and the finalsI don’t have photos of FDS because I was focusing on taking videos of them (see end of this post).Another day for uncle… even with a dragon boat competition making much noise.FDS in Boat Quay headed to the starting area (I’ll learn the correct terms soon!).You could feel the energy because of the drums and the shouting.Layers and layers.Suzie and Joanna.Reminding you how close you are to all the big businesses.FDS in Boat Quay (after their finals race).FDS in Boat Quay (after their finals race).Expat teams returning to the dock.Yours truly.
