We took the train to Tanjong Pagar to catch the LKY funeral procession as it made its way down Shenton. I felt it was appropriate to see Mr. LKY from near my office. People were shouting his name. The lady next to me was in tears. I started to get misty-eyed out of gratitude. This chapter of history was ending. We attended the funeral service live stream from our home community center in Bishan. Touching tributes for a man who helped put this country together. I can’t imagine any other version of Singapore less than what it is now. Thank you Mr. LKY.
