Waah first it’s the self-checkout lanes I’m getting used to at FairPrice and Giant. Now, I’m trying to do groceries using RedMart. They deliver right to your doorstep!

Call me weird but I don’t like boiling water from the “clean” faucets in Singapore. I still prefer to drink water from Dasani or Ice Mountain. My problem is lugging around 1.5L bottles of mineral/distilled water. I usually buy a maximum of 3 because the plastic bags get heavy. A branch of Giant is about a 5-6 minute walk across void decks… so the pinch of plastic on my hands is uncomfortable. #ARTELANG

  
So I “discovered” RedMart. And for my first “attempt” I ordered all the heavy stuff we usually buy at the groceries (sans the papertowels):
