Sharing my new video project about people, advocacy, and current events. In this first monthly episode, I speak with four people who recently travelled overseas during this pandemic. Each person narrates their experiences at the airport, on the plane, and in quarantine at their destination. Plus, we hear how it’s like to get tested and what their travel tips are during this time.
Gaaah. I filmed this a month ago. But I only got to editing it over the weekend. I’ve had an iPhone 7 since 2016… so getting an upgrade in 2020 is WORTH IT. Face ID? Charging without a cord? Portrait mode that WORKS? Those are no longer strange and foreign concepts for me. Lol.
Enjoy the video. It’s NOT meant to be taken seriously. 😛
With more time indoors and away from crowds, I wanted to try a subscription-based coffee service. A colleague recommended I try Perk, which delivers freshly roasted coffee straight to your doorstep. Plus, an opportunity to try using a coffee drip bag for the first time.
I got myself a directional microphone for my iPhone!
Because, like much of the world right now, I’m stuck at home… I turned it into an unboxing video. The microphone was originally delivered to my office address… but had to call the courier to send it over to my residential.
Here’s the video and the audio test:
I didn’t notice much of a difference HAHA. Likely because of the testing environment. A lavalier microphone trumps a directional one when it comes to audio recording. That’s just how I see hear it. But I don’t have a lavalier microphone right now. I’d love to use this if I’m recording video on my iPhone at a crowded place. WHICH ISN’T HAPPENING ANYTIME SOON. 🙂
I finally got around to documenting what a weekend in Singapore looks like for me. Not all weekends are the same. This filming was unplanned. So my Saturday was stay-at-home while my Sunday was at the nearby beach. I enjoyed making this video. Hope you like it too! I provide timestamps on both Saturday and Sunday.
